Birds and Bees

The weather is a good indicator of what is happening with nature. Good weather; dry , relatively warm, and sunny definitely kicks starts the ' birds and bees'.

With Chiffcaffs back in the country , and here at the Glade Trust, it is another indicator of Spring.

The recent ringing session produce 13 species, from the winter illusive Tree Sparrows and new Greater Spotted Woodpecker appearing, plus territorial calling Green Finch.

With the odd glimmer of sun, giving warmth the honey bees were on the wing again.
